Job description

SAIC is seeking engineers to provide Site Implementation support to the FAA Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering organization. These positions are 100% remote when not traveling. Requires approximately 75% travel within the United States.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES MAY INCLUDE:

Assisting with FDIO modifications.
Reading site drawings.
Implementation, installing and validating hardware and software.
Cable fabrication and testing.

Requirements

Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in engineering or related field and 9+ years experience; May accept additional experience or degrees.
Knowledge of computer hardware comparable to Comp TIA A+ certification.
Knowledge of cable paths and protocols.
Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent organization and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language. Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
