  • Engage with cross-functional teams to elicit and document requirements from business stakeholders on systems and data needs.

  • Research, innovate and optimize business processes by identifying challenges and proposing project solutions.

  • Develop workflows and support configuration of enterprise solutions by project-specific requirements.

  • Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools including Power BI or Tableau to analyze EHS&S data, specifically focusing on evaluating and controlling workplace hazards and identifying emerging risks.

  • Support core EMIS platforms (e.g. Enablon, Cority, Intelex, Velocity, Locus) and integrate specialized data/metrics.

  • Support AI driven projects for clients and internal APTIM projects.

  • Develop dashboards and reports that provide data-driven insights.

  • Support solution design, system configuration, data migration, and quality assurance for client software implementations.

  • Design and deliver training materials for both internal and client staff on system use and safe work practices.

  • Support client user acceptance testing, debugging, and delivery of patches.

  • Conduct software configuration migration from development and test platforms to production.

  • Documentation of as-built system configuration management.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field from an accredited program.

  • Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of experience in data analytics, statistics, software support, programming, EHS or EMIS role, with a strong focus on software systems, programming, data analysis, and system management.

  • Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).

  • Technical Writing or Documentation: Ability to translate complex technical processes into user manuals or standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Ability to elicit and document requirements from business stakeholders on systems and data needs.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools including Power BI or Tableau to analyze data, build reports and dashboards.

  • SQL database or SharePoint management.

  • Additional Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum: Understanding the lifecycle of software development (SDLC) to help with the “configuration of enterprise solutions” mentioned in the responsibilities.

  • Experience in data analysis with SQL, advanced Excel functionality, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Experience in EHS&S software (e.g., Cority, Enablon, Intelex, Sphera, VelocityEHS, or other leading EHS platform).

  • Familiarity with ESG Frameworks: Basic knowledge of Sustainability reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, or GHG Protocol) as these often drive the “why” behind the data analytics.

  • HTLM, .NET, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, SQL, JSON, Rest API, XML, Python, CSS, or other programing language.

  • Administrator of software or technical understanding of software administration, settings tables, APIs and databases.

  • Web and mobile application development and testing experience.

  • Foundational Knowledge of Data Modeling: Understanding how to structure relational databases for environmental reporting.

  • Experience managing AWS, Google Cloud, Azure Cloud, or other cloud services is a plus.

  • SSO protocols, AI, Machine Learning, or other system administrator experience.

  • Travel & Language: Ability to travel up to 30%. Fluency in Spanish, French, or Arabic is a plus but not required.
