Job description
- Utilize deep expertise with Cohesity DataProtect, Data Cloud, Helios, SmartFiles, and cluster administration.
- Design and manage enterprise backup and recovery architectures, including backup policies, retention schedules, and cyber recovery strategies.
- Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity planning, including creating recovery runbooks and conducting validation testing.
- Perform VMware administration tasks, such as vCenter integration, managing VM backups, and protection groups.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including operational procedures and technical artifacts.
- Integrate Cohesity with enterprise infrastructure like Active Directory, DNS, and various security platforms.
- Use REST API, automation, and scripting to integrate Cohesity with platforms such as ServiceNow and Morpheus.
- Manage and troubleshoot networking components, including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and firewall rules.
- Support security and compliance requirements, including RBAC, audit logging, and federal security controls.
- Manage cloud backup and data protection across hybrid cloud environments.
- Provide operational support in regulated environments, addressing specific documentation and security requirements.
- Lead technical discussions with customers, gather requirements, and deliver training.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a Federal or DoD environment, including knowledge of RMF and DISA requirements.
- Proven experience with enterprise backup and recovery architecture.
- Experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity planning.
- Experience with cloud backup and data protection in hybrid cloud settings.
- Experience with security and compliance, including RBAC, audit logging, PKI authentication, and FIPS requirements.
Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise with the Cohesity product suite (DataProtect, Data Cloud, Helios, SmartFiles).
- Strong VMware administration knowledge, including vCenter, ESXi, and snapshot management.
- Proficiency with REST API, automation, and scripting for integration purposes.
- Solid networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and firewall configuration.
- Excellent customer communication skills for leading technical discussions and coordinating recovery efforts.
