Senior Data Engineer

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support a strategic Financial Services engagement. This role will be responsible for developing scalable data solutions, building and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing data processing workflows, and supporting enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines

• Build and optimize data integration solutions across multiple source systems
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and transformation logic
• Create and maintain logical and physical data models
• Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities
• Support cloud-based data warehouse and analytics platforms
• Work with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, performance, and integration issues
• Document data flows, mappings, transformation rules, and technical specifications
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
• Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SQL, ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and reliable data solutions., * 6-10 years of Data Engineering experience

• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills
• Experience developing and supporting ETL/ELT solutions
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise data pipelines
• Strong data modeling and data management experience
• Experience with AWS data platforms, including Aurora PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases
• Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Experience within Financial Services environments
• Experience supporting BI and reporting solutions
• Tableau experience

• Base salary up to $118,000
• Target annual bonus of 15%
