Job description

As a CBRE ES Systems Specialist, you will provide customers with advanced support based on technical problems related to their building systems. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

&bull Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operation, panel layouts, etc.

&bull Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.

&bull Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications. Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation.

&bull Approve and develop system graphic displays, according to project specifications or sales proposal.

&bull Provide on-site and remote expert technical support to installers and customers.

&bull Perform multifaceted system evaluation and diagnostics. Isolate and troubleshoot escalated problems, and take corrective action.

&bull Document problem resolution and report findings back to Sr. Manager for customer follow-up.

&bull Point of contact for keeping key customers and management advised of any outstanding and reoccurring problems with products and services.

&bull Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.

&bull Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

&bull Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.

&bull Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

&bull Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Requirements

&bull High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

&bull Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

&bull Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

&bull Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

&bull In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, and Outlook.

&bull Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
