Job description
The Integration/Deployment Engineer is responsible for the technical implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and operational transition of new capabilities supporting modernization initiatives. This position collaborates with Engineering, Development, Test, and Cybersecurity to ensure new capabilities are successfully deployed into operational environments., * Execute integration, deployment, and transition activities supporting modernization initiatives.
- Install, configure, integrate, and validate new hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
- Perform system integration, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution throughout deployment activities.
- Develop and maintain deployment procedures, technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Development, Test, Cybersecurity, and Operations to resolve integration issues and deployment risks.
- Support system verification, validation, and operational acceptance testing.
- Recommend improvements to integration processes, deployment procedures, and technical standards.

Requirements
- The position requires an active Security+ Certificate with CE and a minimum SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- Candidates must have at least eight years of experience in space operations/IT/Systems Administration or five years of experience and a bacheloris degree in a relevant field.
- The role requires the ability to travel for up to four weeks per year (less than 10% of the time) and be physically present 5 days a week.
- Favorable adjudication of TS/SCI is required to remain in role.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or other mission-critical systems.
- Experience integrating enterprise hardware, software, and infrastructure.
- VMware or equivalent administration experience.
- Windows Server and Linux system administration.
- Enterprise networking experience (routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP).
- Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or containerized applications.
- Experience with system integration, deployment, or technical implementation projects.
- Experience working in classified or air-gapped environments.
- Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps practices.
