Job description
- Own and optimize the enterprise DDI platform (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM), ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of critical network services that support the entire organization.
- Serve as the senior technical expert for complex DNS and IPAM issues, leading root-cause analysis and resolving high-impact incidents across large-scale production environments.
- Drive operational excellence across the Infoblox ecosystem by leading upgrades, migrations, service improvements, and integration efforts while helping elevate the capabilities of the broader engineering team.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional requirements you’ll need:
- 8-10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments
- Expert-level hands-on experience with:
- Infoblox (NIOS, Grid architecture, DDI services)
- Strong expertise in:
- DNS (authoritative, recursive, zone management, DNSSEC fundamentals)
- DHCP operations and IP address lifecycle management
- Core networking concepts (routing, switching, TCP/IP)
- Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability environments
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer service issues
- Infoblox Certified Professional (e.g., BloxOne / NIOS certifications)
- Additional certifications strongly preferred:
- Cisco CCNP (or equivalent route/switch certification)
- DNS or network-related certifications, Address Management, Architectural Services, DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), DNS (Domain Name System), Ecosystems, Employee Assistance Plan, Engineering, Healthcare, High Availability, High School Diploma, Identify Issues, Intellectual Property (IP), Military, Network Architecture/Engineering, Network Routing, Network Support, Network Switching, Nonprofit, Production Systems, Root Cause Analysis, TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol)
