Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Front End UI Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, intuitive user interfaces and applications using React and related technologies. You will work within an AI-Accelerated Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing AI coding assistants to accelerate development and focus on high-level system architecture and complex UI problem-solving.

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, intuitive front-end user interfaces and applications using React and related technologies.
• Actively contribute to and leverage our shareable Design System to build high-quality, reusable UI components, ensuring a unified and consistent user experience across the product portfolio.
• Collaborate with product management and UX designers to translate requirements and mockups into high-quality technical specifications and user experiences.
• Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate development, focusing on complex UI components and offloading repetitive front-end tasks.
• Rigorously review, debug, and optimize AI-generated UI code for performance, accessibility, security, and adherence to established UI/UX standards.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to maximize the efficacy of generative AI tools for writing comprehensive unit/end-to-end tests (e.g., Playwright) and drafting technical documentation for front-end systems.
• Contribute to UI architectural discussions and decisions to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Implement and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
• Mentor less experienced developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Do you have experience in Unit testing?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Professional experience as a Software Developer with a strong emphasis on React.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, MobX).
• Experience with RESTful API consumption and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Unit testing and automation tools such as Playwright.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Essential AI-Era Skills (The “New Bar”)

• AI Tool Fluency: Demonstrated ability to proficiently use AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer) in a production environment.
• Code Judgment: Proven track record of evaluating and overriding AI-generated suggestions that are technically correct but architecturally flawed or non-compliant with security and performance best practices.
• Prompting Proficiency: Experience writing clear, contextual, and effective prompts for generative AI to produce usable code, tests, or documentation.
• Adaptability & Learning: High degree of curiosity and a proactive approach to learning new AI tools and techniques that continuously reshape the development workflow.
• Domain & Architectural Focus: The capacity to abstract away from low-level coding details to focus on high-value business logic and systemic architectural integrity.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Github actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with accessibility standards such as WCAG and how they affect UI and UX designs.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD).
• Experience in the automation or SaaS industry.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
