Performance Monitor Patch Management

Job description

Lead the installation, configuration, and patch management of multiple server database environments (SQL and NoSQL). Design and maintain complex database structures, including schemas, normalization strategies, indexes, and stored procedures. Use advanced monitoring tools to tune queries, manage configurations, and optimize database performance. Develop and execute comprehensive backup strategies and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans to ensure zero-loss data integrity. Utilize PL/SQL (Oracle) and T-SQL (SQL Server) to develop triggers and procedures for automated database functionality. Maintain rigorous documentation for configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides to ensure team-wide consistency.

Requirements

Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in database administration or a related field. Expertise in SQL-based systems, NoSQL databases., T-SQL and PL/SQL. Proficiency in enterprise-level performance monitoring and backup/recovery suites Must be willing and able to participate in a rotational on-call schedule to support 24/7/365 system uptime requirements. High school diploma or GED required.
