Job Description: Senior SharePoint Administrator

We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize the organization’s SharePoint environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, performance, and governance of SharePoint platforms while supporting business users, collaborating with IT teams, and driving continuous improvements in collaboration and document management solutions., * Administer and maintain SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments.

• Configure, manage, and optimize SharePoint sites, site collections, libraries, and permissions.
• Implement and enforce SharePoint governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform availability.
• Manage user access, authentication, and integration with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 services.
• Perform platform upgrades, migrations, backups, and disaster recovery activities.
• Support document management, workflow automation, and collaboration solutions using SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and implement SharePoint-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint policies, standards, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support, user training, and guidance on SharePoint best practices.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support enterprise collaboration initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint administration, and collaboration technologies.
• Experience managing SharePoint permissions, security, governance, and site architecture.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive integration.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration and automation.
• Knowledge of SharePoint migration tools and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Azure.
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Forms.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), REST APIs, or basic SharePoint customization.
• Knowledge of information governance, records management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments.
