This role is fundamentally focused on forward delivery, engineering best practices, architecture evolution, and technical leadership to ensure high-quality software products.

This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office location (Hartford, CT; Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

  • Lead hands-on design and development of cloud-native solutions, with strong emphasis across AWS and .NET-based platforms, with strong emphasis on event-driven patterns and scalable architectures

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership for both .NET (C#, .NET Core) and cloud-first services supporting critical business platforms

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and performance issues across distributed systems and APIs

  • Contribute to and influence solution design and architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UX, QA, and platform teams to deliver business outcomes

  • Enable incorporation of AI / GenAI capabilities where appropriate, including intelligent automation, decision support, and productivity-enhancing solutions

  • Guide CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices across AWS and .NET workloads to support rapid, reliable delivery of new functionality

  • Mentor and coach software engineers, raising overall technical maturity and ownership

Requirements

  • *Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

  • 7+ years of progressive, hand-on software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions

  • Demonstrated experience serving as a technical lead or senior individual contributor on complex product teams

  • Strong hands-on experience designing and building cloud applications with AWS preferred

  • Hands-on development experience with .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core) in enterprise environments

  • Experience with modern application architectures, RESTful APIs, asynchronous/even-driven patterns, and system integrations

  • Ability to lead technical design discussions and drive decisions across engineers and stakeholders

  • Experience working in Agile delivery models with modern CI/CD and DevSecOps practices

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and trade-offs

Preferred Skills & Experience
