Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
- Develop KPI dashboards, scorecards, and operational reports that support executive decision-making.
- Build scalable reporting solutions using existing enterprise data models and semantic layers.
- Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Data & Analytics stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive, actionable dashboards.
- Understand and leverage data from multiple commercial and medical data sources, ensuring consistent business definitions and reporting logic.
- Validate data accuracy and collaborate with technical teams to resolve reporting issues when necessary.
- Optimize Power BI reports for usability, performance, and scalability.
- Document dashboard calculations, business logic, and reporting standards.
- Support ad hoc reporting and analytics requests from business leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience supporting Commercial and Medical Affairs organizations within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company with FDA-approved products.
- Strong understanding of commercial pharmaceutical reporting, KPIs, and Medical Affairs analytics.
- Experience working with multiple enterprise data sources and understanding how reporting layers and semantic models are structured.
- Strong proficiency with: Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query (M) and SQL.
- Ability to gather business requirements directly from stakeholders and translate them into impactful reporting solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with both business and technical teams., * Experience developing dashboards using Veeva Vault Analytics (X Pages) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Veeva Commercial Cloud, CRM, or other commercial life sciences platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern cloud analytics platforms.
- Experience working in regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments.
