Data Engineer

Join an organization focused on modernizing data, upgrading legacy platforms and building a scalable data ecosystem. This is a hands on Data Engineering role working heavily with SAP DataSphere and Databricks in an SAP S 4 environment. The team is primarily remote, with occasional onsite collaboration. What you will do

• Build and maintain data pipelines using SAP DataSphere and Databricks
• Design and implement data models, including STAR schema and dimensional design
• Support data migration and modernization efforts tied to enterprise systems
• Partner with data, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to ensure data quality and reliable delivery
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and better data practices

• 6 plus years of Data Engineering experience (or closely related)
• Strong experience with SAP DataSphere and or Databricks
• Solid understanding of STAR schema, dimensional modeling, and storage and retrieval best practices
• Experience building ETL and data integration workflows
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup and collaborating across teams

Nice to have

• SAP Analytics Cloud exposure
• Experience supporting reporting environments such as Tableau
• Familiarity with SAP S 4HANA landscapes and modernization programs
