Job description
You’ll own production features end-to-end - React front ends, Java backends, GraphQL APIs, containerized services - but the way you deliver them is what sets this apart. Your primary craft is building closed-loop agent workflows: the context, rules, verification steps, and orchestration that let multiple AI agents execute real development tasks in parallel, autonomously, and at enterprise quality., * Architect agent-driven workflows - design the context, guardrails, and feedback loops that enable AI agents to produce, test, and verify complete units of work without hand-holding.
- Ship features across the full stack - UI, API, backend, and infrastructure. You own the outcome from spec to release.
- Raise the ceiling for the whole team - package and share the workflows, rules, and tooling you create so that every engineer benefits, not just you.
- Hold the quality bar - enterprise customers depend on what you ship. That means thorough testing, clean first-pass reviews, edge-case handling, and zero regressions.
- Coach junior engineers - lead by example, review code thoughtfully, and help others adopt AI-native practices.
- Stay at the frontier - evaluate new models, tools, and techniques continuously. No single-tool loyalty; deep fluency across the best of what’s available., * You’ve built AI/LLM-powered product features - prompt pipelines, agent orchestration, or automation layers.
- Background in enterprise community platforms, social software, or B2B SaaS.
- Experience with GraphQL APIs and container orchestration at scale.
- You’ve created internal developer tooling that measurably improved team throughput.
What You’ll Gain
This is a chance to practice engineering the way it’s heading - not theoretically, but on a live enterprise product with real customers. You’ll learn to extract dramatically more from AI agents than most engineers realize is possible today: parallel orchestration, context-wiring strategies, and compounding leverage that reshapes what a small team can deliver.
Working Details
- Fully remote, async-first, global - deep work on your schedule, written communication over meetings, fast feedback loops where product changes can go live the same day.
- Compensation: $100K/year.
- Best-in-class tooling - no restrictions on what you use to get results.
- Weekly outcome reviews focused on software shipped, quality maintained, leverage created, and team impact.
If you’re a senior engineer who has already experienced the step-change that AI brings to development - and you want to push that further inside a team that’s built entirely around it - we’d like to hear from you.
Requirements
- 4+ years of production full-stack experience in Java and React - not just familiarity, but genuine depth shipping real products in both.
- Advanced, daily use of agentic AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, or similar). You should be well past the “trying it out” stage and into building repeatable, scalable agent workflows.
- Closed-loop quality habits - you wire in automated verification (tests, type checks, build validation, browser checks) so speed never trades off against reliability.
- Strong product instinct - you think about the end user, handle edge cases gracefully, and deliver polished work without needing pixel-perfect specs for every screen.
- End-to-end ownership - no tossing work over the wall to QA or waiting for someone to assign the next task. You drive features from idea to production.
- Enterprise software sensibility - defensive coding, security awareness, robust validation, and disciplined code review are second nature.
- Working CI/CD knowledge - you can diagnose a broken pipeline and keep things moving. AWS familiarity is a plus.
