Job description

  • Define and lead the long-term technical roadmap for the company’s Lakehouse Platform
  • Architect and implement capabilities for secure and user-friendly analytical data management
  • Design and maintain governance and secure access controls for the data platform
  • Enhance analytics engineering through improved data modeling and quality practices
  • Establish best practices for lakehouse operations at scale
  • Optimize analytical compute and storage performance and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with various teams to translate business needs into technical architecture

Requirements

  • 8+ years in software engineering or data infrastructure, with 2+ years in technical leadership roles
  • Hands-on leadership experience in building data infrastructure teams
  • Proficiency with Snowflake or similar analytical data warehouses, especially in access control and query optimization
  • Strong working knowledge of Apache Iceberg, Spark, and cloud-native data lake architectures
  • Experience with dbt or equivalent frameworks, focusing on data modeling and CI/CD practices
  • Programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages with a focus on production-quality systems
  • Familiarity with Terraform or equivalent for managing data infrastructure
