Job description

We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to design, build, deploy, and optimize next-generation AI agents and intelligent applications. In this role, you’ll develop production-ready AI solutions using Python, Google’s Agent Development Kit (ADK), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications while building scalable cloud infrastructure and maintaining reliable production environments., * Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI agents and intelligent software applications using Python and Google Agent Development Kit (ADK).

  • Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI applications and supporting infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and integrate AI-powered capabilities into existing products and workflows.
  • Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud architectures supporting AI workloads.
  • Perform testing, debugging, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of AI applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor production environments, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement reliability improvements.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience using Python.
  • Experience developing AI applications using LLMs, AI agents, or Generative AI frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Experience building, deploying, monitoring, and supporting cloud-native applications.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, debugging, CI/CD, and version control.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Agent Development Kit (ADK).
  • Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
  • Familiarity with Vertex AI, Gemini models, or other enterprise LLM platforms.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience implementing observability, logging, and monitoring solutions for AI applications.

Contract Details:

  • 6 month contract (likely to be long term w/ extensions)
