Mobile Engineer III - iOS

The Mobile Engineer III - iOS position is a highly technical software engineering role handling various application development efforts across the many iOS applications Purpose Brands builds internally, including the Anytime Fitness App and the Orangetheory App. The position involves writing expert-level Swift code to maintain and enhance iOS apps, in addition to taking part in activities across the software development lifecycle.

Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)

Technical excellence in development

• • writing clear, self-documenting, and modular code conforming to team coding standards
• Developing application features of high quality in a reasonable time frame, by accurately implementing requirements in tickets and design documents
• Collaborating with team members via standard tools: Jira, Slack, Email, Wiki, GitHub, Figma, etc
• Participating in team ceremonies: standups, refinement, retrospectives, planning
• Reviewing pull requests based on technical and architectural standards
• Leveraging AI technologies as part of iOS development and testing, Purpose Brands LLC, currently observe the following hybrid work model for employees at our Boca Raton (FL), Woodbury (MN), and Seattle (WA) offices:
• Remote optional: Fridays
• On-site days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Do you have experience in iOS application development?, * Professional enterprise experience in building iOS apps in Swift, delivered to the App Store

• Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code
• Experience in profiling applications and identifying ways to optimize app performance
• Experience in writing appropriate test coverage for XCTest and Swift Testing
• Experience with version control, Git, GitHub
• Experience with the utilization of caching techniques to enhance performance
• Experience with AI coding techniques and tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.
• Understanding of modern architecture patterns like Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and REST APIs
• Ability to perform code reviews based on technical and architectural standards
• Ability to monitor logs, metrics, and analytics to ensure the success of the apps and services
