Description for the Infrastructure Manager role:- This is a fantastic opportunity with a technology division of a global company. The role will involve managing a Systems Administration and Infrastructure team (c6 people) in a fast-paced technology environment. It requires a strong engineering background including Linux administration, Kubernetes, Cloud technologies and Puppet/Ansible. The role will not be "hands on" day to day, but more owning architectural decisions and managing/prioritising the workload of the team and projects. The role can be remote with the proviso that you can visit the there offices (once a month) for important meetings (Newcastle) Experience required for the Infrastructure Manager role:-7yrs+ commercial experience in an infrastructure roleTeam leading/Management experienceLinux administration skillsSolid Kubernetes knowledgeSolid networking/security understanding/experienceAnsible
Benefits & conditions
