Job description

The RoleAs the DSARs Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Data Subject Access Requests are managed efficiently, accurately, and within statutory deadlines. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across HR, IT, Payroll and other business functions to coordinate responses while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and GDPR compliance.Alongside DSAR administration and project work, you’ll support a variety of wider privacy and data protection initiatives., Data Subject Access Requests (Primary Focus)Manage and coordinate Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) from receipt through to completion.Monitor requests to ensure statutory deadlines are consistently achieved.Coordinate the identification, collection and extraction of relevant personal data.Collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll and other internal stakeholders to gather required information.Review and appropriately redact sensitive information in line with GDPR requirements.Maintain accurate records and comprehensive audit trails.Identify complex cases or potential risks and escalate where appropriate.Support continuous improvement of DSAR processes, documentation and best practice.Ensure all personal data is handled securely and confidentially.

Data Privacy & Protection Support as required Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).Support consent management processes and maintain consent records.Assist with data retention and deletion activities.Support data mapping exercises, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).Assist with vendor privacy assessments, including reviews of Data Processing Agreements.Support international data transfer assessments.Contribute to promoting a privacy-first culture through employee awareness and training initiatives.Provide general administrative support across the Data Privacy function as required.

Requirements

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented DSARs / Subject Access Requests Analyst with wider Data Privacy & Protection experience/knowledge/training to join and support the UK and international Data Privacy & Protection team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience managing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and would like to take on more responsibility and further develop their Data Privacy & Protection experience. This fully remote role will primarily focus on coordinating and administering DSARs while also providing wider support across Data Privacy and Protection compliance activities., About YouYou’ll be a proactive and organised professional with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.You’ll also have:Have the drive and commitment to learn and progress rapidly.Experience managing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) or similar data requests.Good understanding of GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.Experience handling highly sensitive and confidential information.Strong analytical skills with the ability to locate, extract and review data from multiple systems.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.

Desirable ExperienceExperience using Privacy Management platforms such as OneTrust.Broader experience within Data Privacy or Data Protection compliance.Experience managing administrative processes or casework with strict deadlines.
