Technical Consultant | SQL | Finance Software | Remote

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data & Reporting Analyst with strong SQL and technical consulting skills to support and enhance our finance and accounting software solutions for small to medium-sized businesses. This role combines data analysis, reporting, and client-facing technical support to deliver accurate insights and system improvements. Key Responsibilities:Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, analyse, and manipulate financial dataDesign, build, and maintain reports and data outputs for business usersAnalyse financial and operational data to provide meaningful insights to clientsSupport clients with data-related queries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving discrepanciesProvide technical consulting on system configuration, data structures, and reporting capabilitiesWork closely with customers to understand their reporting needs and translate them into effective data solutionsAssist with implementation and onboarding of new clients, including data setup and validationInvestigate and resolve system or data issues, ensuring accuracy and reliabilityCollaborate with internal teams to improve system performance and reporting functionalityMaintain clear documentation for queries, reports, and support processes
