IT Services Senior Manager/Cloud Computing Support Lead

• Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), including virtual networks, compute, storage, and managed services that support mission-critical applications.
• Translate solution requirements into scalable cloud architectures, landing zone designs, and platform standards that align with enterprise controls and governance.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines to provide repeatable, auditable provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
• Design and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud platforms, using native and third-party tools to improve reliability and reduce mean time to resolution.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, network segmentation, encryption, and key management, in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex cloud incidents, coordinating across infrastructure, application, and vendor teams to restore services and prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain standards, patterns, SOPs, diagrams, implementation plans, and recovery procedures for cloud platforms and services.
• Mentor cloud engineers on automation, scripting, platform capabilities, and reliability engineering practices to build a high-performing cloud operations culture., Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8-15 years of relevant experience designing, implementing, and operating complex infrastructure or cloud environments in an enterprise or federal IT setting.
• Significant hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), including production deployments of compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
• Demonstrated expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Extensive experience leading incident, problem, and change management activities for high-visibility or mission-critical services.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation; U.S. citizenship required., * Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Professional-level cloud certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Architect).
• Experience leading cloud adoption or migration initiatives for large, distributed organizations with hybrid cloud architectures.
