Job description

  • Actively participate in a Scrum team with daily collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Estimate, refine, and groom user stories, and deliver committed work on time.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and integrate APIs and vendor applications.
  • Monitor and support APIs and vendor applications using observability tooling.
  • Engage with clients and business partners as needed to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams with limited oversight.
  • Contribute to Enterprise Sanctions and AML screening implementation on the NetReveal platform.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java-based API development, application integration, and enterprise data platforms, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions in Agile Scrum environments., * Proficiency in Java, RESTful API development, Spring Boot, and application integration.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix scripting, Kafka, MQ, OAuth2, SSO, and YML.
  • Experience with monitoring and APM tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Version control and DevOps tooling including JIRA, GIT, and Ansible.
  • Exposure to HaaS, Yarn, Cloudera, and Spark in enterprise environments.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, effective communication, and self-direction.
  • Experience with Enterprise Sanctions, AML screening, or Financial Crimes domains.
  • 15+ years of experience in application development or related roles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Enterprise Sanctions solutions, PEP and Negative News screening, and banking or financial services.
  • Agile delivery experience with JIRA and leadership in Scrum ceremonies.
