Job description
Do you want to help define the future of Go to Market (GTM) at AWS using generative AI (GenAI) and agentic coding tools like Kiro? Are you excited about solving novel technical challenges for customers adopting AI-powered development workflows? Become an AWS GenAI specialist SA!, * Interact with customers directly to understand their business problems and SDLC, and help them implement generative AI solutions using agentic coding tools
- Deliver briefings, demos, hackathons and deep-dive sessions to customers; guide them on adoption patterns for agentic AI development
- Develop white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to enable customers and partners to fully leverage agentic AI development on AWS * Create field enablement materials for the broader technical field population, helping them integrate agentic coding tools like Kiro into customer architectures
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Solution Architects in the field, providing guidance on their customer engagements
- Drive effective feedback gathering from customers, and distill that feedback into clear business and technical requirements for product and engineering teams to help shape the future of agentic coding tools
About the team
AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges - whether that means guiding customers through an application refactor or designing entirely new cloud-based systems. This role is part of the Generative AI Worldwide Specialist organization, where you will work closely with Solution Architects from various geographies to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive adoption of agentic coding tools on AWS.
Requirements
- 7+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Experience managing teams, or experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in technical consulting and experience with at least one Programming language such as .NET, Java, Python with solid foundations in software development and system design

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
