Job description

  • Design, build, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery across multiple projects.
  • Provide technical application support to business users by diagnosing issues, delivering short-term resolutions, and driving long-term fixes in collaboration with engineering and vendor partners.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for system outages, performance degradations, and application failures, then implement targeted remediation.
  • Participate in application releases end-to-end, from development and testing through to production deployment and post-release verification.
  • Analyze applications to identify security vulnerabilities and technical risks, recommending and implementing appropriate mitigations.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, internal technology teams, and external vendors to coordinate issue resolution and infrastructure improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical support documentation to ensure continuity and clarity across the team.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software engineering role, working on Linux-based infrastructure environments.
  • Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, Perl, or Ruby, applied to automation or tooling tasks.
  • Working knowledge of coding and supporting YAML-based CI/CD pipelines for enhancements and implementations.
  • Understanding deploying and managing WebLogic on Virtual machines and container platforms.
  • Ability to query and analyze data using SQL to support troubleshooting and operational reporting.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile principles, and how they apply to delivery workflows and team collaboration.
  • Experience optimizing system reliability and identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail for business stakeholders and management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with ITIL and Agile methodologies and processes.
  • Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms, with Microsoft Azure being particularly preferred.
  • Experience managing production infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code practices for automating environment provisioning and configuration.
