Job description

  • Designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing containerized applications and infrastructure on OpenShift
  • Ensuring stability, security, and performance across various environments

Requirements

  • Must have at least one of the following certifications:
  • Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator (RHCOA)
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
  • RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8, and 9
  • RedHat Enterprise Virtualization & Management
  • Experience with OpenShift Container Platform
  • Strong foundation in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of networking and security within containerized environments
  • Experience with:
  • CI/CD tools
  • Syslog Monitoring and Maintenance
  • Advanced Scripting (Bash, python)
  • Ansible Automation with playbooks
  • Linux Security Hardening (DISA STIGS and Nessus Scanning)
  • Security Enhanced Linux (SELinux) debugging and policy development
  • RedHat Package Management Repository Management (RPM createrepo/mrepo)
  • Version Control (GIT, Mercurial)

Desired Skills

  • Familiar with RHEL OpenShift
  • Familiar with IA Controls, back up and restoration operations for UNIX and Linux operating system using commercial off the shelf products (COTS). Ability to create a manual restoration process or scripted implementation for both backup and recovery operations
  • Skills associated with the installation of RHEL systems utilizing and creating Kick-start scripts and other automation

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Travel Requirements

  • Must be able to travel 10%
