Job description

At fiskaly, innovation drives us. We’re reshaping the landscape of fiscal compliance with our cloud-based solutions for electronic receipts and invoices. Our team thrives on diversity and collaboration, committed to creating a supportive environment where everyone’s contributions are valued. Join us to play a key role in our mission., fiskaly is not a single-office company. We are a distributed team spread across several European countries, and internal IT is what keeps all of it working, new joiners with a laptop that’s ready on day one, colleagues who can get into the systems they need, and a device fleet that stays secure without anyone having to think about it.

You will be the first point of contact when something breaks. That is real, and some days it will be busy: tickets arriving from multiple countries, from people who are not technical and need you to explain what happened without jargon.

But we don’t want you to stay a “human helpdesk”. We want you to get good at spotting the request you’ve now answered fifteen times, and then removing it, through better documentation, better device policies, better automation. The person who grows fastest in this role is the one who reduces their own ticket volume.

️ What You’ll Do

  • Own L1/L2 IT support through Jira Service Desk, triage, prioritise, resolve, and escalate what genuinely needs escalating
  • Run onboarding and offboarding end to end across our locations: accounts, access, devices, hardware logistics, and a clean handover on the way out
  • Administer Google Workspace, users, groups, permissions, security settings, and the small requests that never fully stop
  • Manage our device fleet with Jamf, Intune and Landscape across macOS, Windows and Linux
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues on our UniFi setup in the Vienna office
  • Keep our documentation alive in Confluence, so the answer exists before the question is asked again
  • Support colleagues over Google Chat and email, translating technical problems into plain language people can act on, * A team that values output over hours. We respect the “Crunch Time” of closing but ensure you have flexibility the rest of the month.
  • 25 vacation days per year.
  • Flexible working hours and a hybrid setup in Vienna.
  • Budget for personal and professional development (e.g., maintaining your Bilanzbuchhalter certification).
  • Hardware of your choice (Windows/Mac).
  • A company culture that is open, direct, and pragmatic.

Why fiskaly

Joining fiskaly means contributing to a mission-driven company that is redefining how compliance is done in Europe and beyond. Here, you’ll grow, innovate, and make a real impact on the finance operations of a scaling SaaS company.

Requirements

  • You have done this before: 2-5 years of hands-on IT support experience, ideally in a distributed or multi-country setup, or at an MSP where you juggled several environments at once
  • You know Google Workspace as an admin, not just as a user, you’re comfortable in the admin console, not only in Gmail
  • You have managed devices with an MDM: Jamf or Intune, and you understand why fleet policy beats fixing machines one by one
  • You can troubleshoot a network without guessing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, and reading what the access point is actually telling you
  • You work in a ticketing system, not an inbox: you can hold five open threads, decide what’s urgent versus loud, and communicate status without being chased
  • You explain things simply: you can tell a non-technical colleague what went wrong and what they should do next, in a way that doesn’t make them feel stupid
  • You take ownership: you’re happy working with a good amount of independence, and you close the loop rather than leaving things half-finished
  • You have fluent English, it’s how the whole company works
