Job description
- Coordinate and support Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) across the technology environment.
- Support control assessments and testing activities, ensuring evidence and documentation are reviewed and maintained.
- Manage and track risk issues, actions and remediation plans, following up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare monthly governance and risk reporting packs for senior leaders and risk forums.
- Review risk submissions, remediation plans and extension requests, providing constructive challenge where appropriate.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Technology and Risk teams.
- Support the ongoing embedding of IT risk management practices and governance processes.
- Monitor compliance with technology policies, standards and control requirements.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on IT risk processes, controls and issue management activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, governance and risk management processes.
Requirements
- Experience in IT Risk, IT Audit, Risk & Controls, Governance, Operational Risk or a similar environment.
- An understanding of risk management principles, controls and risk assessment processes.
- Experience supporting or conducting risk and control assessments, RCSAs, issue management activities or governance processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow actions through to completion.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and build effective working relationships.
- Good PowerPoint and Excel skills, with experience preparing reports, presentations or management information for senior stakeholders.
It would be beneficial, but not essential, if you also have:
- Experience within insurance, financial services or another regulated environment.
- Exposure to AI Risk Governance or emerging technology risk topics.
- Experience working within an IT Risk, Audit or assurance function., Communication, Conflict Management, Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Influencing Others (Inactive), Information Technology (IT) Risk Management, Intentional collaboration, IT Project Lifecycle, Managing performance, Prioritization, Report Writing, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Technology Risk Management

You’ll gain broad exposure to IT risk management, governance and stakeholder engagement, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their experience in IT Risk, IT Audit, Governance or Risk & Controls.
