Job description

Forward Deployed Engineer

This is an opportunity to work directly with customers, deploying software into live environments, solving complex technical problems on-site and feeding what you learn back into the product.

You’ll split your time between writing great software and making sure it delivers where it matters most.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deploying and configuring software in customer environments
  • Building features and tools to solve real-world engineering challenges
  • Working closely with customers to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues
  • Integrating software with AI-powered and autonomous technologies
  • Turning field experience into product improvements alongside the engineering team

What you’ll bring

  • Commercial experience with C++, Java, Rust, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
  • Confidence working directly with customers and technical stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally

Requirements
