We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic Actuarial Pricing team starting January 2024. If you’re a graduate with a numerate degree and have dabbled in actuarial tasks or insurance-possibly even tinkered with VBA during coursework-you could be the perfect fit. This role is pivotal in building and enhancing pricing models alongside our underwriting teams, creating robust pricing Management Information (MI) dashboards that drive strategic growth and initiatives., Requirements:Technical Skills:Essential: Profound IT skills with a strong grasp of Excel.Desirable: Familiarity with VBA, data warehouses, SQL, and data visualization techniques.Education & Experience: A 2.1 or first-class degree in Mathematics or a related numerical field (e.g., Physics, Engineering, Statistics) is preferred.Strong ‘A’ Level results, including Mathematics. Personal Attributes:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Analytical thinker with a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.Comfortable interpreting and producing numerical data.Ability to present findings effectively to key stakeholders.A keen eye for detail and an organized mindset.Self-motivated, diligent, and proactive.Team player with the ability to work across various levels of the organization.
