Job description

For our office in Trivandrum, dSPACE is looking for creative and motivated professionals. You will work on exciting and technologically cutting-edge product development projects, in the areas of control prototyping, code generation and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) simulation., * You own plant model development, guiding the team for maintainability, scalability, and HIL hardware alignment

  • You drive the creation and improvement of library blocks across vehicle control and telematics domains, addressing gaps to ensure model fidelity
  • You define technical direction for model setup, enhancement, and validation
  • You steer development to meet validation needs and OEM expectations

Requirements

  • You have a B.Tech/M.Tech university degree in Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • You have strong experience in system architecture and subsystems such as VCU, MCU, BMS, motor, inverter, battery, vehicle dynamics, instrument cluster and telematics, guiding implementation at a team level
  • You have strong knowledge in motor and inverter control methods and telematics systems, including Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technologies
  • You have deep expertise in MATLAB® and Simulink®, and have previous experience with vehicle modeling and simulation tools
  • You have strong C programming knowledge, applied to S-Function development and integration with simulation models
  • You have hands-on experience in HIL validation, ensuring model-hardware compatibility, and are familiar with SIL workflows
  • You are familiar with Azure® DevOps and Git for version control and CI/CD workflows
  • You demonstrate strong leadership in guiding development teams, mentoring engineers, and ensuring sustainable practices. And have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
