Partner Solution Engineer

Vates is a French software company specializing in virtualization, offering a credible alternative to proprietary solutions on the market. Our Vates VMS solution enables companies to manage their IT infrastructures in a simple, efficient, and controlled way. As part of our growth, we are looking for a Partner Solution Engineer to enable and support our business partners in deploying, promoting, and mastering Vates solutions. Through a train-the-trainer approach, this role provides technical guidance, training, and best practices, helping partners become fully autonomous while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, and Channel teams to ensure customer success., * Deliver technical onboarding and enablement sessions for partners.

• Design and deliver technical training, workshops, webinars and participate to blitz days / lead generation activities with sales and channel teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, best practices and enablement materials.
• Support partners during solution adoption and implementation.
• Help partners build technical expertise on VATES products and solutions, help them to develop their own traning centers if applicable
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the partner journey.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D, Support, Sales and Channel teams to continuously improve the partner experience.
• Collect partner feedback and contribute to product and documentation improvements.
• Promote technical best practices across the partner ecosystem.
• Stay up to date with VATES technologies and industry trends.

• Good understanding of Linux and virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure (networking, storage, compute, virtualization) and its entire ecosystem (solutions approach in an Information System vs product approach).
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way.
• Experience delivering technical training or workshops.
• Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

• Experience creating technical documentation and knowledge-sharing content., The ideal candidate has experience in technical enablement, solution engineering, technical support or IT infrastructure. They enjoy sharing knowledge, empowering partners and simplifying complex technical topics. An interest in Open Source technologies and collaborative environments is highly valued. English fluent.

• Strong positive connections and network already in place with some distributors, resellers, integrators, GSIs (Global Systems Integrators), ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) and Cloud & Services Providers
• Strong communication and 121 and groups presentation skills, share his/her passion with speaker and storytelling skills
