Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and backend systems. You will work across the full technology stack, utilizing a broad range of programming languages and frameworks to deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software engineering principles, system design, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on creating efficient, reliable, and secure applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects within an agile environment that values continuous improvement and technical excellence., * The Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains software programs based on customer requirements, following established development standards and the software development lifecycle. This role involves requirements analysis, programming, documentation, performance optimization, and business process implementation. The engineer demonstrates technical expertise by maintaining strong programming skills, adopting new technologies, and applying best practices in secure cloud systems, integrations, and DevOps.

  • Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with leadership, product owners, and business liaisons to gather and analyze requirements.
  • System Architecture: Maintain and enhance system design using test-driven development and architectural best practices.
  • Technology Research: Research and implement new technologies to improve design, security, and performance.
  • Integrations: Work with Web Services, SOAP/REST APIs, and third-party system integrations.
  • Database Optimization: Optimize SQL relational operations, including queries, caching, and clustering.
  • DevOps Practices: Apply best practices in code repository branching/merging, deployments, and system integrations.
  • Infrastructure Management: Implement and upgrade platform infrastructures; configure and manage Apache Tomcat for Java applications.
  • Security: Apply SSL and encryption methodologies; ensure secure cloud technology practices.
  • Full-Stack Development: Develop end-to-end application solutions across front-end and back-end.
  • Agile Participation: Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative development.
  • Documentation & Communication: Prepare technical documentation, communicate with customers, and support project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant technical programming experience.
  • Must have strong Full-Stack Java / J2EE application development and maintenance experience.
  • Must have explicit, hands-on experience working with JSP (JavaServer Pages), Servlets, and JDBC.
  • Must be proficient in configuring, managing, and deploying web applications on Apache Tomcat (or WebSphere).
  • Must have expert knowledge in SQL relational database design, query writing, and optimization (Oracle, DB2, PL/SQL, etc.).
  • Should be skilled in building and integrating REST/SOAP Web Services, APIs, and frontend web technologies (HTML, JSON, Angular, React, or VueJS). Must be proficient in using GitHub (including code branching and merging) and executing unit tests in an Agile environment.
  • Should understand SSL/Encryption methodologies, DevOps best practices, and secure cloud technologies., * Do you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant technical programming experience?
  • Do you have recent hands-on professional experience developing and maintaining Full-Stack Java and J2EE applications?
  • Do you have explicit, hands-on experience working with JSP (JavaServer Pages), Servlets, and JDBC?
  • Are you proficient in configuring, managing, and deploying web applications on Apache Tomcat or WebSphere servers?
  • Do you have expert-level knowledge in SQL relational database design, query writing, and optimization within Oracle, DB2, or PL/SQL environments?
