Job description

The HRIS & People Operations Partner is responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of ReFocus Eye Health’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Paylocity, while driving operational excellence across the People Team.

This role serves as the primary owner of HR systems, data integrity, reporting, and core People Team operations. The HRIS & People Operations Partner ensures employees, managers, and People Team members have reliable systems, accurate data, and efficient processes that support a positive employee experience and enable organizational growth.

ReFocus Eye Health operates throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and continues to experience significant growth through mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, systems-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve as the organization scales.

As a member of the People Team, this role plays a critical part in building scalable infrastructure, supporting acquisition integrations, and ensuring People Team operations run smoothly and efficiently., HRIS Administration & Optimization

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Paylocity and related People Team systems.
  • Manage system configuration, workflows, user access, security roles, and organizational structure updates.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and partner with vendors to resolve system concerns.
  • Lead testing, implementation, and deployment of new system functionality and enhancements.
  • Maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across HR systems.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve system efficiency.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute People Team reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics.
  • Support regular and ad hoc reporting requests from leadership.
  • Analyze workforce data and identify trends to support decision-making.
  • Monitor data quality and proactively address discrepancies.
  • Maintain organizational charts, workforce data, and reporting structures.

People Operations

  • Manage and optimize employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Support new hire orientation and onboarding administration.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and job aids.
  • Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and employment record management.
  • Support implementation of People Team initiatives and programs.

Acquisition & Integration Support

  • Support HRIS and employee data integration activities for newly acquired practices.
  • Coordinate employee record conversions and data validation efforts.
  • Assist with onboarding and transition activities during acquisitions.
  • Partner with the People Team to ensure consistent processes and data management across acquired entities.
  • Identify and resolve system and operational issues associated with growth and integration initiatives.

Process Improvement & Project Support

  • Evaluate People Team processes and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead operational projects related to HR systems, employee data management, and workflow improvements.
  • Support organizational change and adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the Head of HR.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred., * 3+ years of Paylocity HRIS, People Operations, Human Resources, or related experience.
  • Hands-on experience administering Paylocity’s HRIS.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee lifecycle processes, and HR operations.
  • Experience supporting organizations undergoing rapid growth, organizational change, or mergers and acquisitions preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • MUST LIVE IN NORTHEAST OR MID-ATLANTIC

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong HRIS and systems administration experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Paylocity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • High levels of HRIS data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Timely resolution of employee, manager, and People Team system issues.
  • Successful support of acquisition integrations and employee data conversions.
  • Streamlined and documented People Team processes that improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Positive user experience for employees and leaders utilizing People Team systems.
  • Development of scalable People Team infrastructure to support organizational growth.

Requirements:

Must live in Northeast or mid-Atlantic

Must have Paylocity experience

Must have Paylocity integrations experience

Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, healthcare preferred
