Detailed Job Description: This resource will act as a Expert Project Manager for the DOT Transportation Safety Management and Operations (TSMO) Technology Program to oversee and coordinate multiple related IT and OT projects to achieve larger strategic business objectives. This role is responsible for the successful execution of a portfolio of projects that collectively achieve a significant strategic business outcome, ensuring synergy, efficiency, and alignment across both IT and OT domains working with crossfunctional teams. This role will champion Project Management principles while navigating the unique complexities and safetycritical nature of transportation technologies, and is critical in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • 84 months of experience in Program and Project Planning and Execution with changing project requirements.

  • 84 months of experience managing projects that involve Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) Integration and Operations preferrably in the transportation sector that includes cross-functional (business, technical, security and vendor) teams.

  • 72 months of experience managing projects specific to transportation operations, traffic management, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS).

  • 72 months of experience with Stakeholder Management and Communication by developing and maintaining a stakeholder engagement plan, conflict resolution, documentation management, and regular reporting both written and verbal.

  • 60 months of experience with Performance Measurement and Reporting

  • 60 months of experience with process improvement evaluation and identification including project processes and methodologies, and post-project reviews.

  • 48 months of experience in IT infrastructure and OT systems including cybersecurity principles and best practices in each.

  • MUST hold these:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
