Job description
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Architects, Product Managers, and stakeholders to break down features into user stories aligned with prioritized Portfolio and Value Stream work.
- Own the team backlog, define user stories, establish acceptance criteria, and lead story refinement for iteration and program increment planning.
- Provide input and feedback to Epic Owners on new and existing epics, ensuring alignment with stakeholder and customer needs.
- Review and accept user stories throughout iterations as functionality is completed.
- Coordinate with other Product Owners and Product Managers to assess impacts and interdependencies across teams, programs, or value streams.
Requirements
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and services sector, is seeking a Product Owner to join their team. As a Product Owner, you will be part of the Agile team supporting various project initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization., * Four (4) years of demonstrated Product Owner experience required.
- Experience working in an Agile environment; SAFe scaling experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Lean values, with experience scaling using the SAFe framework.
- Solutions-based thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to ask probing questions and uncover underlying issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for story development and stakeholder engagement.
