Job description

The SAP Analytics+ team is organised around three core delivery pillars:

  • Finance Planning, Performance & Close
  • Data Platform Modernisation
  • Analytics & AI

There is an opportunity for you to join and help develop our SAP Analytics+ team, specifically focusing on SAP-enabled financial planning, performance management, consolidation and close. We expect you to have recognised, market-leading expertise in using one or more of:

  • SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, including predictive and workforce planning
  • SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, Group Data Analysis and Fiori reporting
  • SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) and SAP BCS
  • Financial close, consolidation and statutory/regulatory reporting
  • Disclosure management - SAP Disclosure Management, Workiva
  • AI-assisted forecasting and close, and the SAP Autonomous Finance direction

This represents a unique opportunity to develop your career in consulting within an established Big 4 consulting firm. You will have the chance to develop your technical and functional expertise in the Analytics+ tools, as well as in the delivery and implementation of large-scale technology solutions as you work on a range of projects in cross-functional teams.

In your role we expect authoritative, market-leading knowledge of financial planning, performance management and close, the SAP solutions that enable it and the industries we serve. You will own the most senior client relationships to understand client pain points, translate them into good-practice solutions, and communicate clearly at all levels of a client’s finance, business and IT organisations., As an Associate Director in Finance Planning, Performance & Close, your role will involve:

  • Setting the strategy, propositions and entry offers for the Finance Planning, Performance & Close pillar, aligned to SAP’s Business AI Platform.
  • Originating and closing new work - owning senior client relationships and a personal pipeline and sales target.
  • Providing quality and risk oversight across multiple concurrent Finance Planning, Performance & Close engagements.
  • Leading our alliance and co-sell relationships - SAP.
  • Building and developing the pillar team - hiring, growing leaders and running performance and career development.
  • Representing the practice externally - thought leadership, eminence and marquee-client relationships.

Requirements

  • A recognised, market-leading track record in the pillar, having led large, complex SAP programmes end to end.
  • Authoritative command of the SAP finance analytics landscape - SAC Planning, S/4HANA Group Reporting, BPC/BCS - and of the end-to-end plan, perform and close cycle.
  • Proven origination - personally opening and closing new work, with a network of senior client, SAP and alliance relationships.
  • Experience leading and growing teams at scale, including developing other leaders.
  • Executive presence and communication strong enough to represent the practice to marquee clients and at board level.
  • A clear, current point of view on where SAP analytics is heading - Business Data Cloud, agentic AI and the Autonomous Suite - and how to monetise it.

Additional desirable experience includes:

  • Qualified/part-qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA.
  • SAP certification in SAC Planning, S/4HANA Group Reporting or BPC.
  • Experience of SAP Disclosure Management or Workiva.
  • S/4HANA finance transformation experience.
