Are you a hands-on SAP SuccessFactors specialist who enjoys building, improving and troubleshooting systems-not simply managing suppliers or advising from a distance?We are supporting a large, established organisation looking to appoint a SuccessFactors Technical Engineer to strengthen its internal People Systems capability. Working closely with the People Systems Lead, you will take agreed business requirements and translate them into robust SuccessFactors configuration, integrations and controlled system changes. This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of technical delivery across the full lifecycle:Design * Configure * Test * Deploy * Demonstrate * Support, You will be responsible for:Configuring and enhancing SAP SuccessFactors Employee CentralBuilding and updating MDF objects, business rules, workflows, picklists and data modelsManaging Role-Based Permissions and configuration dependenciesBuilding, maintaining and troubleshooting third-party integrationsUsing tools including Integration Center, Intelligent Services and APIsSupporting Microsoft Teams and wider platform integrationsPreparing configuration playbacks and demonstrations for stakeholdersWriting test scripts and supporting system testing and UATInvestigating defects and managing issues through to resolutionMoving approved configuration between development, preview and production environmentsMaintaining clear technical, testing and deployment documentationWorking with internal SMEs, IT teams and external support partnersSupporting the adoption of new SuccessFactors platform and AI-enabled capabilities
Requirements
What We Are Looking ForYou will need strong, practical experience working with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.This should include:Hands-on Employee Central configurationMDF objects, workflows, business rules and data modelsRole-Based PermissionsIntegration Center, Intelligent Services or API-based integrationsBuilding or maintaining integrations with third-party systemsEnvironment management and configuration deploymentUAT planning, test-script creation and defect managementStrong documentation and change-control disciplineThe ability to explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification is strongly preferred, alongside demonstrable integration experience. Experience with Microsoft Teams integrations, SAP CPI/BTP, Joule or other SAP AI-enabled platform functionality would be advantageous, but is not essential where you have the technical capability to learn.
