Configuration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Configuration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective implementation and maintenance of our company’s software and hardware systems. You will work closely with our IT team and other departments to identify and resolve any configuration issues and ensure that our systems are optimized for maximum performance., Collaborate with the IT team to analyze and understand system requirements and develop appropriate configurations.

• Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Develop and implement procedures for system maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure system security and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for system improvements.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of system configuration and administration.
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
