· Provide one-on-one help with laptops, tablets, smartphones, email, software updates, and basic troubleshooting.

· Teach small-group classes using Northstar Digital Literacy and other programs that support skill building using technology and access to community services and resources.

· Help participants complete online job applications, create resumes, use school and benefit portals, and access telehealth services.

· Teach online safety, privacy, password protection, scam awareness, and internet affordability options.

· Track attendance, services, and participant progress in the designated database.

· Coordinate schedules, outreach, referrals, and volunteer support with community partners.

· Serve as a member of the digital literacy and IT team.

· Contribute to project development, expansion and success by communicating successes, challenges and potential solutions.

Requirements

· A high school diploma or equivalent. An associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, or IT is helpful but not required.

· At least two years of experience in customer service, human services, adult education, community outreach, or a related role.

· Comfort using Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, web browsers, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and common online tools. Knowledge of all not required. Willingness to learn is essential.

· Strong communication, listening, organization, and problem-solving skills, with patience for helping beginners.

· The ability to work independently, follow a rotating travel schedule, and lift and transport equipment weighing approximately 25-50 pounds.

· A valid, clean driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle for travel across the service area.

· Knowledge of rural Western New York or the Finger Lakes region is strongly valued. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
