Job description
The Staff Engineer is a highly experienced engineering professional responsible for leading complex projects, providing technical expertise, and driving innovation within the organization. This role involves designing, analyzing, testing, and optimizing engineering solutions while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Senior Engineer ensures compliance with industry standards, enhances processes, and contributes to strategic engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Strong development skills with C/C++ programming languages
- Minimum 7+ years of embedded or control systems programming
- Experience with debugging strategies for embedded systems including emulators and logic analyzers
- Ability to collaborate with a team of engineers and support staļ¬ in a laboratory setting.
- Strong engineering writing and documentation skills
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualiļ¬cations
- Experience with additional programming languages such as Python. Ada knowledge a plus
- Real time application design experience
- Model based software development using tools such as SCADE, Simulink, MATLAB.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers and digital signal processors
- Ability to interpret electronics schematics
- Experience with inertial navigation concepts
- Experience with DO-178C software certiļ¬cation process
All work to be performed on site in our Pine Brook, NJ facilities.

This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, and internal consistency.
Additionally, we offer a medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, tuition assistance, paid vacation and sick days, paid holidays, and a 9/80 work week with every other Friday off.
