Requirements
We are seeking a skilled Window Kernel Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is honest, reliable, and has a proven record of accomplishment in computer security., * 3 years of professional software development experience writingin: C, C, Python
- 3 years of demonstrated experience developing and testing kernellevel software for Windows
- Three years of Windows kernel level debugging and diagnostics usingtools such as Windows DDK or Win DBG or equivalent
- 3 years of demonstrated in-depth experience developing, testingand debugging software for Windows OS using Visual Studio IDE andWindows SDK
- Demonstrated in-depth understand of Windows Low Level Systemsdevelopment and API
- Our company is in Perry Hill, MD but the job will be on site - Chantilly, VA - not a remote opportunity, * A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience as a Window Kernel, or similar role is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Visual Studio IDE andWindows SDK languages are preferred
- Knowledge of risk management methodologies and security frameworks
- Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiarity with public key infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic protocols (e.g. SSL/ TLS), Analysis Skills, Application Programming Interface (API), C Programming Language, Communication Skills, Computer Science, Computer Security, Cryptographic Protocols, Debugging Skills, Debugging Tools, Federal Government, Federal Laws and Regulations, IDE (Integrated Development Environment), Identify Issues, Intelligence Community, Internet Security, Intrusion Detection Systems, Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP), Kernel Programming, Law Enforcement, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Windows Device Driver Development Kit (DDK), Microsoft Windows Operating System, Needs Assessment, Online Training, Presentation/Verbal Skills, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Python Programming/Scripting Language, Research & Development (R&D), Risk Management, SSL-TLS (Secure Socket Layer - Transport Layer Security), Software Development, Team Player, Test Plan/Schedule, Training/Teaching, WinDbg, Writing Skills
