Job description

Development and Implementation:

  • Must be familiar with all active IS Projects to facilitate project completion. Manage project calendars, run webinar meetings and coach IS staff on project management standards including: design communication planning, create meeting structures, build processes, evaluate and improve existing processes and promote continuous improvement of project plans.
  • Manage small projects independently: run meetings, manage agenda, provide recaps and track action items, tasks, issues and project status, drive deadlines.
  • Maintain solid documentation, which includes best practices, troubleshooting and configuration guidelines.
  • Determine and document device requirements, submitting capital requests, and provide/confirm tracking logistics.

Maintenance and Support:

  • Provide support to both Corporate and Facility IS team members, answer questions related to the application/project and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Provide support to Leadership and PMO in team member training and facility communication initiatives and project completion.
  • Review / Verify Quotations, Purchase Orders and Invoices to ensure payment can be secured. Work in conjunction with Corporate Accounting, Purchasing and Receiving Department(s).

Technical:

  • Installs, configures and tests PC desktops, laptops, printers and other clinical workflow devices, and / or leads other team members in these activities.
  • Troubleshoots network connectivity related to desktops, laptops, printers and other peripheral devices.
  • Supports Microsoft Office and other office and clinical applications.
  • Monitors and reports technical issues related to facility and corporate systems.
  • Serves as a point of escalation for facility technical issues.
  • Works with facility teams, corporate teams and vendors related to implementations, upgrades and ongoing support for technical components.
  • Provides testing and validation of system technical components.

Administration and Oversight:

  • Provides technical support and guidance to other team members as required.
  • Prepares and promptly submits all routine and special reports.
  • Keeps management well informed of all activities, needs, problems.
  • Maintains Service Excellence principles.Performs other tasks as required by management.

Requirements

  • This position requires 2 years of college coursework or Associate’s degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience working on projects.
  • Knowledge of project management terms and tools, support methods and practices.
  • Learns quickly, takes constructive feedback on performance, stays focused on the job with attention to detail and produces desired outcomes.
  • Able to communicate clearly and respectfully with all levels at Corporate and with facility personnel.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to set and manage client expectations.
  • Microsoft Office - Proficient in Word, Power Point, Outlook, strong understanding of Excel and Visio.
  • WebEx meeting facilitation.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.
