Job description

We’re partnering with a growing organization that is investing in its data platform and looking for a Database Developer II to help modernize its database environment. This is an opportunity to work on enterprise-level SQL development, data integration, reporting, and performance optimization while collaborating with architects and cross-functional technology teams.

What You’ll Do as a SQL Database Developer II

  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server database solutions.
  • Build and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
  • Develop reporting solutions with SSRS and Power BI.
  • Tune database performance through indexing, query optimization, and best practices.
  • Support cloud and hybrid database modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with application developers, business stakeholders, and data architects.
  • Troubleshoot complex database and reporting issues.
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
  • Help drive database standards, security, and technical best practices., * Hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

Are you a SQL expert who enjoys solving complex data challenges and building scalable database solutions?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related experience.

  • 4-6 years of experience with enterprise database development.
  • Strong SQL Server and T-SQL development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud or hybrid database environments.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or C# is a plus.
