Job description

  • Responsible for analyzing/interpreting the Data Modernization strategy across impacted disciplines and developing and implementing best-of-class data solutions.
  • Support of formalization of business requirements, translation of business requirements into detailed technical requirements, and participation in Agile-based workstreams via use of Jira.
  • Create more capacity from an agile perspective

Requirements

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education., * Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Relational DB (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or others)
  • Micro-service architectures
  • Working with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Automation Deployment toolkits)
  • Experience developing RESTFull API’s
  • Agile Development environment
  • Data engineering and/ or full stack development (I.E. PANDAS - PYTHON module/ POLAR/ ITORCH)
  • Programing experience
  • Experience building distributed applications NICE TO HAVE

  • Test Driven Development (TDD) environment) - NICE TO HAVE
  • Familiarity with capital markets domain, specifically in risk disciplines such as Market and Counterparty Credit Risk (Strongly desired)
  • Knowledge and understanding of derivative products, risk management, and data modeling of financial products (Strongly desired)
  • GenAI and Agentic AI (very nice to have-desired)
