Software Engineer, Data

• This full-time position is based in New York, NY, and requires a hybrid work setup.
• The role involves maintaining and evolving data systems and platforms to support business-critical operations and analytics.
• The successful candidate will work with a small team to integrate data across various departments, enhancing data processes and infrastructure for future initiatives.
• Key technologies include a general programming language, data orchestration, and data modeling tools., * Design, build, and maintain data assets for ingestion, transformation, and loading.
• Develop and maintain models to support data transformations within the warehouse.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party APIs to construct reliable data pipelines.
• Implement best practices for extraction, transformation, loading, and storage processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in a general programming language, including object-oriented programming.
• Experience working with third-party APIs to build data pipelines.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, including complex queries.
• Experience with data orchestration tools.
• Working knowledge of cloud data warehouses and basic cloud service knowledge.
