Job description

Blackwood is seeking an energetic and results-oriented mid-level Federal Program Lead to drive operational execution, contract compliance and program performance for NASA SEWP VI. This role will focus on all day-to-day contract program operations in a high transaction volume environment, and partner closely with internal stakeholders to drive Blackwood’s long-term success and growth under the program. This individual will report to the Manager of Contracts & Capture. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as deputy program manager for upcoming NASA SEWP VI contract
  • Act as the internal liaison between Sales, Growth and Operations, leading all back of house operations to ensure successful program execution.
  • Oversee SEWP performance metrics, compliance requirements, and contract modifications.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and excellent program performance.
  • Manage PMO communications, reporting requirements, and performance rating maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Operations to execute SEWP business strategies for competitive positioning and revenue growth.
  • Manage SEWP catalog maintenance, technology refreshes, pricing strategies, and competitive market analysis.
  • Coordinate with NASA SEWP contracting officers on contract actions and ensure sales team adherence to ordering procedures.
  • Provide sales training on SEWP compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience managing high volume accounts or contract vehicles in the cybersecurity/IT space
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government-wide acquisition contract requirements
  • Experience selling cybersecurity and channel model sales
  • Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills; accuracy and attention to detail, including follow-up.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of experience in federal government contracts or procurement environment; private sector experience preferred
  • BA/BS degree
  • US Citizen; ability and willingness to obtain security clearance
  • Must reside in Washington DC Metro/Baltimore Region. Ability to travel 5% for meetings, events, and trainings., * Experience supporting products and services based GWACs and other large order vehicles (GSA MAS, NASA SEWP, IDIQs)
  • Experience with SEWP ordering platforms, and associated compliance portals
