Job description
Define and maintain network architecture principles, design patterns, and implementation standards Lead architectural assessments to identify risks, gaps, and modernization opportunities Develop network roadmaps and future-state architecture recommendations Support RFP development, vendor evaluation, and leadership presentations Partner with engineering, operations, business teams, and vendors to design and deliver solutions Support escalated production issues and drive root cause analysis and remediation Champion automation, analytics, and operational efficiency improvements Establish governance standards and architectural guardrails across distributed environments Ideal Candidates Will Have
Requirements
10+ years of enterprise network engineering and/or architecture experience Strong Cisco CAT-C background in campus switching and routing Experience across LAN, WAN, wireless, security, and cloud-adjacent services Ability to translate business needs into scalable network designs Experience with RFPs, vendor engagement, and executive-level recommendations Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience supporting enterprise and manufacturing/OT environments Required Skills/Experience:
Cisco CAT-C Enterprise campus switching and routing Cisco ACI, Cisco SDA, and Cisco ISE Zscaler and SD-WAN Wireless networking MPLS and WAN resiliency Palo Alto firewalls Secure access and segmentation Enterprise and OT network integration Other Skills:
Ansible, Terraform, or ThousandEyes Enterprise transformation or migration programs CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications Network analytics and automation
