Senior Backend Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Golang and Python.
• Build data models, integrations, and secure data exchange solutions with external partners.
• Contribute to end-to-end product delivery, including occasional front-end development support.
• Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices.
• Drive improvements in performance, security, reliability, monitoring, and observability.
• Lead technical design decisions and contribute to architecture planning.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Partner with Product, Data, Clinical, and Engineering teams in an Agile environment.

• 7+ years of software development experience with strong focus in backend development.
• 5+ years building RESTful APIs and scalable backend systems.
• 3+ years of experience with Golang and/or Python.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Django, Gin, or Gorm.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience; PostgreSQL preferred.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS; React experience is a plus.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and cloud-native architectures, preferably AWS.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, security, scalability, and modern testing practices.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, and Linux environments.
