Job description

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of SAP BTP solutions, emphasizing CPI integration to connect various cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient system architectures aligned with enterprise requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Oversee the configuration and customization of SAP BTP services, including API Management, Integration Suite, and other relevant components.
  • Ensure robust system security by implementing cloud security best practices, including VPNs, firewalls, and system hardening techniques.
  • Conduct technical troubleshooting and support for complex system issues related to integrations, performance bottlenecks, or security vulnerabilities.
  • Promote continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using tools such as Jenkins or Git to streamline development workflows.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and technical specifications.
  • Stay current with emerging SAP BTP features and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance enterprise capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a SAP BTP Track Lead or similar role with a focus on CPI integration; minimum of 5 years in enterprise IT environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform services including SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and related tools.
  • Strong background in solution architecture, system design, and enterprise solutions implementation across diverse platforms.
  • Proficiency in software development languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java; experience with scripting for automation purposes.
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure components including cloud security protocols (VPNs, firewalls), load balancing, virtualization (VMware/ESXi), and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Familiarity with database systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies and SDLC frameworks; knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical skills in requirements analysis, business process modeling, and systems troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills capable of bridging technical concepts with business objectives across global teams.
