Senior Application developer/.Net/ Ruby on Rails

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Application developer/.Net/ Ruby on Rails for a Contract with a client in Carollton, TX. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and microservices while supporting software deployment, performance optimization, and ongoing production support., Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications, microservices, and web services using .NET Core, C#, and Ruby on Rails technologies. Build and support scalable APIs, database solutions, and cloud-based applications across Azure and AWS environments. Apply Agile, BDD, and TDD methodologies to deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable software solutions. Manage application deployments, CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and production releases using modern DevOps practices. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues while providing ongoing support for business-critical applications and user requests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical initiatives, and contribute to software architecture, code reviews, performance optimization, and security best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. 8-10 years of experience in application development with strong expertise in .NET technologies and/or Ruby on Rails. Proven experience developing enterprise applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs using .NET Core, C#, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL/SQL Server, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Strong knowledge of Agile, BDD/TDD methodologies, DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes), application security (OAuth2, IAM/CIAM), and software architecture best practices.
